Emily Dayton Evans is a SAG/AFTRA actor, comedian, and filmmaker based in New York City.
Raised in a small farm-town in rural Vermont, Emily started performing at age three at her local dance academy. Nowadays Emily works across disciplines, and has booked work in TV, video games, commercial, theatre, as well as musical theatre.
She is currently a house team improviser at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Harold Night, as well as a recurring player on shows such as Rumpleteaser. She was an artist in Residence at Ars Nova Theatre in ‘23-24, where she created the feminist and absurdist play The Supermodel Show. She has written, directed, and produced numerous short films, a television pilot, a solo show, and a northeastern comedy tour. Her all LGBTQ+ sketch pilot One Million Girls was named BEST OF LATE NIGHT at SeriesFest 2023. In 2022 she was named Content Creator to Watch by the New York Comedy Festival.
On-screen credits include; The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (AMAZON), The Other Two (HBOMAX), The Loudest Voice (SHOWTIME), and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (NETFLIX). Emily’s work has been featured by festivals such as HBO Women in Comedy Festival, The East Village Queer Film Festival, LA Shorts Festival, and SeriesFest to name a few.
Emily lives in Brooklyn with her partner and her late grandmother’s cat. In her free time Emily loves to paint, make mosaics, complete puzzles and spend time outdoors.
